A 16-month ban has been imposed on a motorist caught without insurance and driving under the influence of cocaine.

Adrian Whitty, 32, of Atherton Road, Hindley Green, admitted the two charges to Wigan and Leigh justices who also also ordered him to pay £244 comprising a fine, victim services surcharge and costs.
