Hide AdLatics boss Paul Cook must decide - when this season is out of the way - whether Lang is ready to challenge for a place at Wigan, or needs more time elsewhere.
If it's the latter, Motherwell - who took Latics striker Devante Cole on loan last season - are waiting to stake their case, according to reports north of the border.
